"Alison Rodriguez, publisher of WeddingChicago.com, an online shopping guide for brides, plans to work every holiday this year to prepare for a bridal show she’s hosting in February. And she’s not blind to the fringe benefits of busyness. She plans to spend a lot of quality time with her laptop while visiting her mother’s home in St. Louis for Christmas, where this year the guest list includes four women and only one man, Ms. Rodriguez’s husband.”
“I always like my ‘me’ time,” says Ms. Rodriguez, 35. “Too many women at one time can be an explosion”.
