Friendly, co-operative staff who are passionate and focused on your needs will ensure that your hotel wedding reception runs smoothly: will they cater for your special requirements; are kids welcome; do they offer discounted rooms for you and your guests and can they provide a free airport transfer if you are flying off on honeymoon. If the answer’s yes to these and other questions, you know you’ve found a winning venue.
5. Ensure there’s plenty of onsite car parking
From an eccentric uncle’s vintage Morris Minor to your Rolls-Royce or Mercedes, make sure your shortlisted wedding venues offer enough onsite parking for wedding cars and guests’ vehicles. And if you’re jetting off on honeymoon, ask if your venue can offer secure parking while you’re away - the best ones will.
