Chicago Bridal Brunch at Cafe Brauer

Hello everyone!

I know I haven’t written in awhile, so I just wanted to touch base.  We’re getting everything set for the upcoming Wedding Chicago Bridal Brunch at Cafe Brauer and I have to admit that I’m really excited about it.

Fall is my favorite time of year.  My husband and I were married in the fall 5 years ago this month, and there’s something so romantic about this season in Chicago.

I was riding on Lake Shore Drive this morning and I was taken aback with the beauty of the city.  It’s the first week of October and the leaves are already starting to turn.  Next week, the leaves should ripen to a variety of rustic colors all over Chicago.

Lincoln Park Zoo, and The Great Hall of Cafe Brauer, are some of the top jewels in the city.  The fact that many of us can just walk to the zoo whenever we feel like it is just an amazing perk of living here.

The most beautiful thing about Cafe Brauer is the view.  It’s perched above South Pond at the Zoo and has two gorgeous Loggias to mix and mingle with family and friends during a wedding, or a special bridal brunch.

We’re changing things up a little bit this year, too.  Jenny Yoo is set to do the fashion show, but we now have to find a spot within the Great Hall to have the show.  Many of the vendors will be in hall as well, so it’s a challenge to do the fashion show in the same spot.  We’ll figure it out this week.

We’re happy that MAC Cosmetics will join us again to do the bridal makeovers.  They were a big hit last time so I’m sure our brides will have a blast with the artists.  They’re so professional and kind to everyone.

Well, I think I’ll blog a little more tomorrow.  It feels good to share with you all about the happenings at Wedding Chicago.  I never want to get too busy that I don’t get a chance to make contact with you all.
