Chicago Bridal Fashion Show featuring the Elda de la Rosa Bridal Collection

Chicago designer Elda de la Rosa will be unveiling her 2006 Summer Evening and Bridal Collection at a fashion show hosted by Via Veneto (6340 N. Lincoln Ave.) on Thursday, May 4, 2006.

Doors will open at 7:00pm
Show starts at 8:00pm
Cost: Free
Complimentary hors d’oeuvres by Via Veneto, raffle drawing and gift bags for all guests.

This is a wonderful opportunity to get the first look at Elda’s latest collection. “I was first inspired by certain fabrics, then by vibrant, exotic colors,” says Elda. She has created a collection of show-stopping gowns with beautiful fits in bright powerful colors and showy fabrics.

According to Elda, “Working on this collection has made me so happy—the bright silks in fuchsia, chartreuse, orange, yellow, sea greens and sky blues to the amazing silk prints, oyster silk charmuese and ivory duchesse silk satins--they have all influenced me.  For this collection I have created dresses that rise from the sea, go retro with modern lines or have incredibly sharp or corseted cuts”.
