We’re really excited about having Jenny Yoo because they design unbelievably beautiful bridesmaid dresses. I don’t know if you’ve started shopping for bridesmaid dresses, but I’m here to tell you that there are slim pickings out there. Thankfully, Jenny Yoo is one of the few high-end designers that can create dresses that your bridesmaids will want to wear again.
The dresses in the Jenny Yoo Collection are very feminine and flattering. That’s important because you may have bridesmaids of different sizes and chances are that each of them wants to look beautiful for your wedding.
The old idea of having your bridal party wear hideous dresses just so that they can stand out is finally dying out, slowly but surely. Many women love their bridesmaids to death and they want them to feel good about themselves at their wedding. Confident brides know that they will stand out no matter what and they are comfortable with being surrounded by impeccably dressed bridesmaids.
A number of Chicago brides are allowing their bridesmaids to select their own dresses within a certain color range and design. This is such a gracious thing to do because it gives your friends the freedom to choose a dress that works for them. Not everyone will fit into the same mold. Plus, it makes it a lot easier for them to drop several hundred dollars for a dress that they actually WANT to wear. If I had to buy a dress that I didn’t like, I might start building a resentment. That can be a recipe for disaster.
