Oh, the agony of Chicago bridesmaid dresses…

I have seen some hideous Chicago bridesmaid dresses in my time.  The thought of big, fuschia monstrosities with puffy sleeves fill my brain at the mere thought of Chicago bridesmaid dresses.  I understand that it’s the bride’s day, but everyone will be looking at the Chicago bridesmaids, as well.

Thankfully, things have changed over the years.  Now, you can get a gorgeous bridesmaid dress that you can wear again and again.  And, isn’t that the way it should be?  If I’m going to pay between $200 - $300.00 for a dress, I’d like to get some use out of it.  I should be able to pull it out for cocktail affairs or a fundraiser or two.  Why not?  That’s a lot of money to throw down for a one-shot deal.

We were able to coordinate a mini-fashion show on Fox Chicago in the Morning with Tamron Hall a few weeks ago to promote the Wedding Chicago Bridal Show.  During the spot on Fox Chicago, Paul from Nicole Miller was able to showcase some beautiful Chicago bridesmaid dresses.  One dress was a deep red color and it was very sexy.  I LOVED that dress.  I don’t know if I would want my bridesmaids to look sexier than I, but it was a gorgeous dress.

Please take the time to shop around for Chicago bridesmaid dresses.  Also, ask your bridesmaids for their input since it’ll be a significant purchase for them. 

Also, you don’t need to order the exact same dress for each of your bridesmaids.  Different body types might call for different types of dresses.  I chose the color for my bridesmaid dresses and let them choose the style that worked for them.
