Chicago Wedding Cakes by House of Fine Chocolates

I just wanted to let you know about one of the best wedding bakeries in Chicago, the amazing House of Fine Chocolates.

House of Fine Chocolates has provided the sweet treats for many of my personal events, including my wedding.  We tasted cakes at several different bakeries around Chicago, but we found the best cake for the best price at House of Fine Chocolates.

The bakery isn’t fancy or pretentious at all.  They’ve got great customer service and often times you’ll deal directly with one of the owners of the patisserie.  It’s located right next to The Bagel on Broadway and is always packed on Sundays. 

Most of the residents of Lakeview know how great the pastries are at House of Fine Chocolates, but we have several Wedding Chicago Blog readers that haven’t had the opportunity to sample one of their fabulous treats.

Here’s the top secret bonus of ordering a Chicago wedding cake from House of Fine Chocolates:  They will provide you with a smaller version of your wedding cake on your one-year wedding anniversary for FREE.  That’s right, you don’t have to save the top layer of your cake in the freezer and then chow down on the frozen dessert twelve months later.  That’s crazy talk!

Honestly, that was the clincher for us.  The fact that they provide a small version of the cake for no extra charge simply because they want to take care of their customers speaks volumes. 

The rest of their cakes are also fabulous.  My husband bought a chocolate birthday cake for me that had the Chicago skyline wrapped around it.  That cake was truly the hit of the party.
