Chicago Wedding Invitations Custom-Made

There are a number of Chicago wedding invitation design studios in the Chicagoland area that provide unique wedding invitations for their clients. When you order your wedding invitations, here are a couple of things to think about.
Some designers focus on creating unique letterpress invitations. Letterpress invitations are more expensive because they create special plates for each set of invitations that they design. The process is very time consuming and takes a great deal of energy and focus to create these custom-made wedding invitations. The upside is that you will receive unique wedding invitations just for you, and some brides want that special touch for their wedding.
A number of invitation designers also create Silkscreen invitations, which is a little less expensive, but just as beautiful. According to Camille Winer of Camille Winer Art & Design, silkscreen is “a process by which ink is pushed through tiny openings in a high mesh screen creating an artistic handprinted effect”. I happen to like Silkscreen invitations over Letterpress because they have a very soft and delicate appearance. They’re also more affordable, and I always like to save some money.
When you meet with your invitations designer, be sure to tell him or her your budget before they create an estimate for you. It would give them a better idea ahead of time on the best way to create your dream wedding invitations.
