Chicago Wedding Planner for just One Day
April 17, 2006
Not everyone can afford a high-end Chicago wedding planner to create the wedding of their dreams on any budget. Most of us have limited resources when planning our wedding, and need to stretch our dollar as far as it will go.
That being said, one of the smartest investments you can make for your wedding is to hire an experienced Chicago wedding planner to manage the last minute details of your wedding.
It’s amazing how many things will come up on the day of your wedding. I’m not saying that you’ll have tons of crises left and right, but stuff happens and someone needs to be available to handle it when it does.
That’s why it’s a good idea to simply hire a Chicago wedding planner for your wedding day. Rates will vary, but generally it’s not that expensive to retain a Chicago wedding coordinator for just one day.
During my own wedding the seating arrangements got a little screwed up and I was not in the position nor the frame of mind to take care of the problem. My family and friends worked it out, but it would have been nice for a professional to take charge of the situation.
I’ve participated in several weddings over the years and sometimes wedding vendors get into traffic or have to deal with a last minute emergency. Usually, the wedding vendors will contact the wedding coordinator or wedding planner directly to inform them of the situation so that no one needs to worry needlessly.
It helps to have an emotionally detached person, i.e. a wedding planner, to coordinate the day so that you can fully enjoy the experience. Sure, you can get a friend to act as your coordinator, but it’s nice having an experienced professional in your corner. Chicago wedding planners have been through the ringer and know how to solve problems quickly.
