Cinematic Chicago Wedding Videography

Chicago wedding videography is a higly under-rated artform.  I know that might sound hard to believe, but it’s very difficult to produce a cinematic Chicago wedding video that will stand the test of time. 

Most people have a negative connotation of Chicago wedding videographers and wedding videos in general.  They believe that they’ll get stuck with a cheesy wedding video that has silly graphics and bad sound all throughout their video.  They’re afraid of the video guy or woman showing up with this huge video camera and super bright lights to capture the footage.  I’m here to tell you that the old way of doing things is finally becoming a thing of the past. 

Wedding videos don’t have to be cheesy!  You don’t need crazy graphics and sparkles and goofy editing tricks to tell the couple’s story.  Many couples have turned away from that style, so videographers have had to adapt.

Some Chicago wedding videographers are independent filmmakers, cinematographers or documentarians.  They understand how to tell a story without stealing the focus from the happy couple.  They’re very good at framing the shots and editing the footage with style.
