Finding Chicago Wedding Makeup Artists

There are lots of different ways to choose a Chicago wedding makeup artist.  You could just choose an artist at random at the salon you always go to, or you could research different makeup artists online.

Chicago makeup artists run the gamut in Illinois.  Some like Liz Quesnelle of Le Bon Visage are actual aestheticians and can work on your skincare and apply your makeup for all of your Chicago wedding festivities.  Other artists prefer to work on makeup only, but will make you look fabulous on that day.

There’s no right way to choose a Chicago makeup artist.  I would stress that you do a test run with the artist at least one month before your wedding.  It’s important to get a sense of their personality, so feel free to “interview” a couple of Chicago makeup artists before you make the decision.  The last thing you need is a snotty makeup artist to work on your face the day of your wedding.  That could add an unwanted frown line or two.

Read their Vision statement on their website or talk to them at length on the phone.  You should get a pretty good idea of their personality ahead of time.
