Healthy Magazine for Allergy-Sensitive Brides
June 21, 2006
“Living Without" magazine is a healthy-oriented publication that provides healthy living tips to people with allergies and food sensitivities.
It seems like almost everyone I know has some type of allergy, whether it’s environmentally-induced or a sensitivity to some type of food like wheat, sugar, eggs, peanuts, etc. Well, if you’re getting married it’s a good idea to find out the different types of allergies your guests have when planning the wedding menu.
Just before my wedding I discovered that I had developed an allergy to pollen, so luckily I picked up a prescribed allergy medicine a few weeks before we left for the honeymoon. Thank goodness we discovered this before the wedding.
Some people feel isolated if they have an allergy and that they can’t participate in different activities with their friends. They may feel left out because of the allergy and might start to avoid situations just to escape that feeling of isolation.
What’s so great about “Living Without" is that it shows their readers different ways to cope with their allergies. Sometimes allergy symptoms might lessen if the person cuts out certain types of food. I know of a few people that had a lot more energy once they gave up wheat in their diet.
I love the fact that “Living Without" magazine was designed to support its readers after they receiving an allergy diagnosis from their esteemed doctors. Sometimes the advice from doctors is not enough to get them through that transition. “Living Without" is a supportive magazine that helps people live big, abundant lives with their allergies.
Having allergies is a part of life for many people, brides included. Why not get a little support and clarity along the way?
Take care!
