High-Pressure Sales Tactics

Okay, so I was talking to one of the brides coming to our Wedding Chicago Bridal Show next month and she shared a bad wedding experience with me today.

She recently tried on bridal gowns at one of the higher-end Chicago bridal salons and was pressured to buy a wedding gown that very day.  She kept telling the salesperson that she was just looking and was planning on visiting several bridal salons before making a decision.

Alright, I know we all have to make a living, but there’s no need for high-pressure sales tactics.  Chicago brides have a lot going on right after they get engaged, and they don’t need salespeople to play on their fears.

I’ve had good and bad experiences in Chicago bridal salons, and it really just depends on the salesperson that’s working with you.  When someone takes the time to answer my questions, and put my fears to rest about the item in question, then I’m more inclined to buy from that retailer.  High-pressure sales tactics only make me want to run for the hills.

If you get a bad vibe at a particular salon, feel free to try another one.  We have a ton of reputable Chicago bridal salons that will take the time to address your needs.

That’s it for today.  Have a good one!
