Joliet Wedding for My Fair Brady
July 23, 2006
I’m watching some of the final episodes of the “Getting Married” Brady show, and it’s a trip to watch. They got married in Joliet this past May, but it’s nice to see all the dramatic hoopla leading up to the big day.
I’ve read a few posts from bloggers who voice their opinion about their relationship. They analyze the episodes and come up with their own opinions about Adrienne Curry and Christopher Knight. I have my own thoughts too, but I don’t want to take bets on how long the marriage will last. That’s just bad energy.
Besides, the TV version will be a lot different from reality. Having worked on a few documentaries, I can tell you that the miracle of editing can alter the reality of any situation. Let’s say you have two people arguing about bread, well if you take footage from a previous conversation about their relationship you make it seem like they are arguing about their tumultuous relationship.
Also, if you watch the finale tonight, you’ll see our own Rev. Jim Rehnberg, or Rent-a-Rev, in action. His voice appeared in a previous episode when he suggested pre-marital counselling for the happy couple.
And another thing, during one of the episodes her friend Chynna Doll told her that she thought it was a mistake to marry this man. Since that was a full sentence, I don’t think that the editors could have created that statement out of thin air. Unless a friend of mine directly asks me if she should marry her fiance’, I will not reveal my opinion about her soon-to-be husband. Unsolicited advice drives me crazy.
Check out the episode if you get a chance. I think it comes on tonight at 8PM.
Take care!
