Missing Sister Found before Wedding
July 9, 2008
Here’s a hopeful story from Hold the Front Page. A bride in England desperately wanted her sister to participate in her wedding, but had no idea where she lived. The estranged sister, Emma Andrews, had drifted away from the family six years prior to the wedding of Hannah Andrews and could not be found.
Hannah and her fiance’ contacted the Hampshire Chronicle and persuaded chief reporter Warwick Payne to write an article about their plight with the hopes of reaching the long-lost Andrews sister. A friend of the missing sister spotted the article and relayed the information directly to her.
Lo and behold, Emma contacted her sister a few days before the wedding and happily participated in her sibling’s nuptials. So, now we know that even the media can play a big part in your dream wedding!
Have a good one!
