Passion Destinations: A Huge Success!

Hi Everyone,

We had such a fun time last Wednesday at Passion Destinations, a Wedding Chicago bridal event.  Brides came out to meet with Wedding Chicago vendors and pick up tips to plan their great Chicago wedding.  We’ll add a section next week with the photos and more highlights of the evening.

Several of our bridal guests are honeymooning in Hawaii, Mexico or in European destinations, such as Tuscany, Italy.  Represenatives from Moonrings, Orbitz and Travel by Marcy were on hand to offer guidance to couples as they plan a special honeymoon for themselves.  We were even invited to attend and cover a destination wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico for our Wedding Chicago magazine.  We haven’t made a decision on that one yet, but we’re more than happy to oblige our Wedding Chicago members.  It’s the least we can do.

We’re planning a second event in November on Holiday Makeup and Skincare, moderated by local esthetician Liz Quesnelle of Le Bon Visage.  Liz is so unbelievably knowledgeable and she has passed along some really helpful tips.  We’ll iron out the details next week, so check the blog for more information.

The weather is supposed to be amazing this weekend, so make sure you get a chance to enjoy it.  As we all know, Chicago winters can last a very long time and I’ve made it a priority to soak up as much sun as I possibly can.
