Wedding Chicago: Changes All Around

Hi, everyone!! 

We’ve made some changes!  Yay!!!  We’ve changed the Editor’s Note to our Wedding Chicago Blog, so I’ll be able to keep in touch with you more often.  Feel free to make as many comments as you like.

We’ve also added a Sales & Deals section to help you save some money as you plan your wedding.  It can cost an unbelievable amount of money to plan a wedding in the Chicagoland area.  We’re living in one of the higher economic areas in the country, so goods and services can cost more than in some other areas.

My husband and I got married a few years ago and we had an amazing wedding on a limited budget.  We had a luncheon wedding reception and bought a number of items like our wedding favors, invitations, cake topper, my wedding veil and tiara online.  A lot of sites like FineStationery.com and Macy’s have extensive descriptions and photos of their items so you can feel more comfortable with your purchase. 

You can find some great deals at Hotwire.com and EasyClickTravel’s Top Ten Deals!.  You can even get free luggage if you stay at Beaches Family Resorts.  I know it’s your honeymoon, but if you go during the school year, you’ll run into fewer families with children.

You also might want to check out some of the deals at Beauty.com.  They’re offering several items for FREE with a purchase.  I’m actually going to buy some things later today.
