Chicago Wedding Bands with Class

I know of a number of Chicago musicians that play in different Chicago wedding bands around the Chicagoland area. Some bands are even 12-piece Chicago wedding orchestras that play for weddings & special events with 300+ guests. The best Chicago wedding bands are able to adapt to the type and style of music you’d like to have at your wedding within any budget.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: not every Chicago bride has the type of money to simply throw in the wind and hire the biggest and the best Chicago wedding band around. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but so is the type of music that one prefers.
It’s hard to single out Chicago wedding bands since I know the band leaders of a number of them, but I can say that the musicians from Dave Ivaz Music are top-notch all the way. They played at the last Wedding Chicago Bridal Show and made a great impression on all of our guests. They played primarily jazz music, but were able to shift from song to song almost effortlessly. It was a joy to watch them.
The Chris Sarlas Orchestra is another Chicago wedding band that can go from a small trio to a large orchestra, depending on the type of wedding. Chris Sarlas is a nice guy that tries to work with his guests. I’ve referred a number of brides to the The Chris Sarlas Orchestra and I’ve never had any complaints.
Only work with a Chicago wedding band that is willing and able to work with you. Some band leaders have this huge ego and can come off as some type of maestro who will reluctantly play at your wedding for an exhoribitant amount of money. I believe that artists should be paid for their work, but the attitude can be left at home.
You work hard for your money and you deserve a little respect. If a Chicago band leader tries to strong arm you into a wedding package that doesn’t work for you, just keep on walking. There are plenty of reputable Chicago bands that will work with you to create a magical, musical night for you and your guests.
