Formerly a Masonic temple, Stan Mansion’s grand facade and elegant interiors reflect the designed by architect Moritz F. Stranch which was built in 1921. It is located in the historical charming Logan Square, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Chicago. When the city was incorporated in 1837, city planners wanted Chicago’s image to reflect the motto “Urbs in Horto,” or “City Set in a Garden.” As a result, Logan Square became enriched with large, tree-lined boulevards and parks, as well as some of the city’s most magnificent homes and mansions, and is now referred to as the “Emerald Necklace of Chicago.”
The Ballroom will seat 300 guests comfortably. There is a built-in wooden dance floor and a fabulous stage on which the band/or DJ can perform for all to see. The acoustic is also great.
The cocktail room has 2 built-in bars and can have highboys & cabarets for guests...you may even decide to make it into a lounge area with sofas & coffee table for a more hip scene.
